LOIS LYNN BREDO July 2, 1952 - September 14, 2007 Her smiles, her laugh, her sense of humor are gone from us until another day, another time, another world. Lois Lynn Bredo passed away in the early morning hours of September 14, 2007 at St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital. Lois was born on July 2, 1952 in the north end of Winnipeg to parents Thadeus (Ted) and Gladys Ominski. Her parents instilled many fine qualities in Lois but at the forefront was a deep seated spirituality which carried her through life's trials and joys. Lois struggled with a brain tumor for almost eleven years but survived to enjoy her daughter's wedding in June to Orin Doneff. Lois attended St. Benedicts Academy in Winnipeg before achieving degrees at the University of Manitoba, University of North Dakota and Washington State University as she set out on a career as a Speech Language Pathologist. Lois was passionate about her job, as she loved working with children. Lois knew how to be a friend and was blessed with exceptional friends wherever she lived or worked. Lois is survived by her husband and best friend Burgess; daughter Holly (Orin) Doneff; parents Ted and Gladys Ominski; sister Janice (Ray) Snyder and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 University Ave., Edmonton, AB., T6G 1Z2 or St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital Foundation, 10707 - 29 Ave., Edmonton, AB., T6J 6W1. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton. Rev. Tesfu Kelati will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Wednesday, September 19th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 10826-62 Ave., Edmonton, Alberta.
